A florist, a butcher and a pharmacy all need a cold van, but they don’t need the same one. Each product has its own temperature, its own weak spot and its own way of going wrong. We set up every van around what you’re actually moving, so it arrives fresh, safe and on time.
We rent 1 ton and 3 ton chiller vans and freezer vans, with a driver, to 13 industries across the UAE. Find your industry below to see the temperature it usually needs, the van that suits it best and the one mistake that most often spoils a load.
Most people think cold transport is about one thing: keeping it cold. In practice, each industry has a different problem to solve. For a pharmacy, it’s proof. The medicine has to stay between 2°C and 8°C, and you need a record to show it did. For a fruit trader, it’s the opposite of what you’d expect: some fruit gets damaged when it’s too cold. For a caterer, it’s the food that goes into the van still warm from the kitchen.
That’s why we ask what you’re moving before we send a van. The answer tells us the size, the temperature, how to load it, and what to watch on the road.
Each card shows the temperature your products usually need, the van most customers in that industry choose, and the thing to watch out for.
Cooked food loaded while still warm. Cool it first, then load, or the whole box warms up.
Temperature: Chilled 0°C to 5°C
Usual vehicle: 1 ton Toyota Hiace
Mixed loads. Milk, vegetables and meat want different temperatures and should go on separate runs.
Temperature: Chilled 1°C to 4°C
Usual vehicle: 3 ton Mitsubishi Canter
A short spike outside 2°C to 8°C can ruin a vaccine without any visible sign, so the record matters as much as the cold.
Temperature: 2°C to 8°C
Usual vehicle: 1 ton Hiace with temperature logging
Hygiene. Raw meat never shares a box with ready-to-eat food, and the box gets washed down after every job.
Temperature: Chilled 0°C to 4°C
Usual vehicle: 3 ton Isuzu NPR
Melting ice and strong smells. Sealed boxes and a washable floor keep the next load clean.
Temperature: 0°C to 2°C
Usual vehicle: 1 ton Hilux or D-Max chiller pickup
Tight early-morning delivery windows at shops, so the van needs to arrive cold and on time.
Temperature: 1°C to 4°C
Usual vehicle: 1 ton or 3 ton chiller van
Colder is not always better. Bananas, mangoes and tomatoes get damaged below about 10°C.
Temperature: 0°C to 14°C, by product
Usual vehicle: 3 ton chiller van
Ripening fruit gives off gas that makes flowers wilt early, so flowers travel alone.
Temperature: 2°C to 5°C
Usual vehicle: 1 ton Toyota Hiace
Frequent door openings on multi-drop routes. Every stop lets warm air in.
Temperature: -18°C or colder
Usual vehicle: Freezer van
Too cold is a problem too. Chocolate gets a white bloom, and cakes sweat when they come out into the heat.
Temperature: 12°C to 18°C
Usual vehicle: 1 ton chiller van
Long waits at the venue. The van often doubles as a mobile cold room until service starts.
Temperature: Chilled or frozen
Usual vehicle: 1 ton or 3 ton, parked on site
Many small drops in one shift. A side door and smart loading keep door time short.
Temperature: Chilled 0°C to 5°C
Usual vehicle: 1 ton Hiace or Nissan Urvan

These are general ranges. Your product label or your supplier always has the final word. If you're not sure which van fits, our chiller van rental guide explains the 1 ton and 3 ton options in detail.
The product decides the temperature, and whether it can share the box with anything else.
Cartons or pallets, one drop or twenty, one Emirate or three. This decides 1 ton or 3 ton.
If an inspector, auditor or big retailer checks your deliveries, we make sure the temperature record is ready.
Whatever your business, every van arrives cooled to your temperature before loading, with a trained driver, GPS tracking, and a temperature record for the trip. We clean the box between jobs, and we never put raw meat or fish in the same load as ready-to-eat food or medicines. You can rent by the day or by the month, or call us for a 24/7 emergency van when your own vehicle lets you down.
Moving frozen goods rather than chilled ones? Take a look at our freezer van rental. Need something bigger than 3 tons? See our refrigerated truck rental.
Any business that moves products that spoil in the heat. In the UAE that mostly means restaurants, caterers, supermarkets, pharmacies, meat and seafood traders, dairy suppliers, florists, bakeries, hotels and event companies.
Only if the products need the same temperature and are safe together. A van holds one temperature, and raw meat should never share a box with ready-to-eat food or medicines. When products clash, we plan separate runs or separate vans.
Yes. We run chiller vans at 2°C to 8°C for pharmacies, clinics and medical distributors, and the driver keeps a temperature record for the whole trip that you can hand to your quality team.
Then you need a freezer van rather than a chiller van. Our freezer vans run at -18°C or colder for ice cream, frozen meat, seafood and frozen ready meals.
Yes. On a monthly rental you get the same van and, where possible, the same driver every day, so they learn your route, your customers and your loading routine.
Yes. Every trip comes with a temperature record, which you can share with food safety inspectors, pharma auditors or your own customers as proof that the cold chain held.
Tell us what you sell and where it goes. We’ll suggest the right van and send a fixed price, usually within the hour.
